In the shadows of the Tatooine suns, in the forgotten scorching desert sands, the enormous Krayt Dragon is feared as a living legend. Only the bravest hunters – or the desperate scavengers – dare to pursue them. When one falls, the carcass draws scavengers, Jawa Traders, and off-world merchants alike. The meat of the Krayt Dragon is said to be infused with the mineral rich sands it roams, giving it a smoky flavor that whispers of ancient dunes. Tusken Raiders consider it a sacred prize, roasting slabs of it over open fire spits during ritual feasts, while black market cantinas serve it to thrill-seekers who crave a taste of ancient folklore and culture. Few meats carry the same aura of danger, triumph and mystique as Krayt Dragon meat – born of the desert’s deadliest predator and infused with the desert scent. We were able to secure some of this tantalizing smoked meat for this gathering of geeks. Don’t ask the details of the sketchy black market cantina – we gave our word that their off-world delivery is classified.

On the planet Kashyyk, there is a well known establishment known as the Howling Moon Cantina that serves roasted Jyykle vulture (similar to the American roasted chicken). It paired well with their home brewed meads and moonshines. This establishment wasn’t known for a fancy meal, just a simple clan gathering enjoying the roasted Jyykle and some drinks. Simple. Clan. Camardarie. We were able to get our hands on some of the roasted Jyykle for this event. Sit back and enjoy the mouthwatering, juicy meat. You can top it with any of the accompanying sauces if you desire.

Jandarra was a small, tubular, purple and green vegetable native to Jubilar. Considered a delicacy, the plant would usually only grow after rare rainstorms in the desert which made it hard to cultivate. It was also one of Leia Organa Solo's favorite treats. Shalam imported it but at a 100% tariff, bringing its worth there down by half the cost, thereby forcing the people of Jubilar to smuggle jandarra to the planet for processing.

On Corellia’s bustling planet, Talvex, a humanoid alien who was raised on a potato farm on the outskirts of the busy spaceports. Corellia is known for producing some of the fastest starships and having the best mechanics. Talvex longed to be part of the action and move away from the slow-paced farming community. His family struggled with weather, harvests, and taxes and he wanted a different lifestyle filled with adventures. When he was 21, he was offered a job on a carrier ship as a mechanic. His mom, Maeber, would pack huge containers of her family’s vinegar-based potato salad that would keep for his long-haul trips, and he always shared with the crew. The potato salad became known throughout the galaxy as Talvex’s Tater Salad. The potato salad became so popular that shipping crews would hunt down Talvex’s family farm and request this dish. The family eventually opened a little carryout shop at the shipyard featuring Talvex's Tater Salad which became a booming little business for his family’s farm and provided employment for his extended family. We were able to custom order a supply for this party so be sure to grab a spoonful and enjoy!

The Slag Pit was a cantina on Nar Shaddaa in the Corellian Sector and owned by Odrell Vorbaal, It was one of the moon's three most popular bounty hunter hangouts. The cantina was well known for their chips and salsa. The salsa was a cold sauce made of vine ripened tomatoes, fresh garlic, chili peppers (whichever are in season and the spiciness varies), onions, and fresh cilantro were the traditional ingredients. Depending on the chef and seasonal ingredients, the
salsa could vary slightly in color and ingredients. The salsa was served with crispy fried corn dough in the form of chips. The Slag Pit served it complimentary with the purchase of their famous home brewed moonshine.

Among the swamp’s treasures grew the spiral frond cabbage, a crunchy plant that soaked up the rich, murky flavors of the water. The Swamp Cook, shredded the cabbage, along with some colorful orange roots and spices then tossed it into a dressing brewed from the fermented bog sap with a pinch of sugar or agave. On the distant outer rim world of Ukio, was an agricultural dream planet. The sun baked the fields by day and the nights hummed with alien insects that pollenated the vegetation. One of the prominent crops were the Fire-vine peppers, strikingly like jalapenos, which thrived near the murky ponds. The dense mineral enriched soil along with the perfect temperatures, produced bountiful crops. One night, a traveling cook, Talcon from Nar Shaddaa, stumbled onto the luscious farmland and was searching for something new and spicy to offer the crime lords and smugglers that landed on his eatery barge for meals. The farmer’s wife taught him the technique of sweetened brine, combining vinegar with sugar and some spices fusing the sliced Fire-vine peppers into the sweet, spicy brine. It created an explosion of flavors in the mouth! It was an exquisite mixture of a sweet and spicy condiment he was hoping to master. He took the newfound knowledge and incorporated the new condiment into a spread for his famous grilled meat sandwiches. Now he is working on how to create a dip with this new concoction. Yes, the possibilities are endless. We were able to snag a few jars of these Feisty Fire-vine Peppers for your consumption.

Ojom was a frozen ocean planet located within the Deep Core and homeworld to the Besalisk species. Ojom is largely inhospitable to other species. The only crop that grows on this planet is the Ojom Onion. It thrives in the cold climate. Although a dimly lit tavern known for frequent outbreaks of violence, it was a popular stopping point for pilots, smugglers, bounty hunters, alien misfits, and renegades. Mos Eisley Cantina makes the best meat dipping sauce served with their spicket roasted meats. Some disgruntled employee shared Mos Eisley’s secret sauce recipe for this party!
